Hoy les traigo algo de la última película del gran director español, Pedro Almodóvar:

SINOPSIS: Un hombre (Lluís Homar) escribe, vive y ama en la oscuridad. Catorce años antes sufrió junto a Lena (Penélope Cruz), la mujer de su vida, un brutal accidente de coche en la isla de Lanzarote que lo dejó ciego. Este hombre usa dos nombres, Harry Caine, lúdico seudónimo bajo el que firma sus trabajos literarios, relatos y guiones y Mateo Blanco, su nombre de pila real, con el que vive y firma las películas que dirige. En la actualidad, Harry Caine vive gracias a los guiones que escribe y a la ayuda de su antigua y fiel directora de producción, Judit García (Blanca Portillo), y de Diego (Tamar Novas), el hijo de ésta, secretario, mecanógrafo y lazarillo. Desde que decidiera vivir y contar historias, Harry es un ciego activo y atractivo que ha desarrollado todos sus otros sentidos para disfrutar de la vida, a base de ironía y una amnesia autoinducida. Ha borrado de su biografía toda sombra de su primera identidad, Mateo Blanco. Hello there!

Here's a trailer of a very good movie with Will Smith: Hancock.
I don't like this super hero thing very much but this movie is worthy your time 'cause
it's funny and shows a different super hero: ironic, bad-tempered and with an enormous heart (but the thing is that he's not aware of it...).
Great cast and the soundtrack goes perfectly with Will Smith.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I´ve always liked songs like these, and if this one doesn´t make you think about it for at least a few minutes of your day, something must be wrong.
Hope you really understand the value of the words and maybe you will see how He valued you on that day above all.

Les presento a nuestros nuevos amigos Michel y Rosa. Desde hoy y a lo largo de las semanas vamos a leer la opinión de ellos sobre distintos temas.

Me llamo Rosa y tengo 14 años. Vivo con mi familia en Madrid, en un piso de 3 cuartos, uno para mis padres, uno para mi hermana y yo y otro para mi hermano de 8 años.
Soy una niña rubia y delgada, los pantalones me quedan siempre largos. Desde los 10 años llevo gafas, pero esto nunca me molestó. Las mías son rojas y divertidas. Me gustan las ropas más sencillas y confortables.
Tengo muchas amigas en mi escuela. Las más próximas son Pepita y Juana. Hacemos juntas todos los trabajos y también estudiamos para los exámenes. Me gusta mucho estudiar y conocer nuevas cosas. Los libros también me encantan, principalmente los de aventura entre amigos y romance. Por todo mi interés por la escuela, soy una buena alumna y saco buenas notas. La escuela y el aprendizaje son un placer para mí, siento que estoy creciendo, como si ganase alas para volar.
En mis vacaciones, me gusta viajar con mi familia, pero extraño a mis compañeras. Mis abuelos viven en la playa y siempre vamos a visitarlos. Son muy independientes y divertidos.
Así como los libros, las músicas me encantan. Prefiero el rock y las más animadas que puedo bailar. Me gusta escucharlas muy alto para sentirme envuelta en sus sonidos. ¡Mi mamá se preocupa con esto y siempre me pide para cuidar del volumen de mi cuarto!! Yo bailo en casa con mi hermanos y también en la disco, por la tarde de los sábados, con mis amigas.
Después, vamos a comer las hamburguesas, que tanto me encantan. Me gustan también los pasteles, los dulces, el helado y la coca-cola. ¡Todas las semanas vamos a probarlos!
Me gusta hablar muchas lenguas y por esto hago cursos de francés, inglés y alemán. Los provecho en mis viajes para conocer nuevos amigos.
Mi mayor sueño es vivir en otro país por un tiempo. Pienso que será una experiencia fantástica.

Cooking Club - Healthy Food

Hello students!
Last month my students from Inter 4 had a delicious Cooking Club with the theme Healthy Food.
We had a delicous ham-and-salad sandwich, created by Eduardo, and a HUGE fruit salad by Mars and Cida. Jimmy was supposed to make a juice for us, but he forgot so he bought Coke to everyone. Very healthy, indeed!

Phan Thị Kim Phúc (born 1963) is a Vietnamese-Canadian who is the subject of a famous photo from the Vietnam War. The photo shows her at about age nine running naked on the street after being severely burned on her back by a South Vietnamese napalm attack. The photo was taken by AP photographer Nick Út.

Kim Phúc and her family were residents of the village of Trang Bang, South Vietnam. On June 8, 1972, South Vietnamese planes, in coordination with the American military, dropped a napalm bomb on Trang Bang, which had been attacked and occupied by North Vietnamese forces. Phúc joined a group of civilians and South Vietnamese soldiers who were fleeing from the Cao Dai Temple to the safety South Vietnamese held positions. A South Vietnamese Air Force pilot mistook the group for enemy soldiers and diverted to attack. The bombing killed two of Phúc's cousins and two other villagers. Associated Press photographer Nick Út earned a Pulitzer Prize for his photograph of the aftermath. It also was chosen the World Press Photo of the Year for 1972. The image of Phúc running naked amidst the chaos became one of the most haunting images of the Vietnam War. In an interview many years later, she recalled she was yelling "Nong qua, nong qua" ("too hot, too hot") in the picture.

After snapping the photograph, Út took Kim Phúc and the other injured children to a hospital in Saigon, where it was determined her burns were so severe that she probably would not survive. After a 14-month hospital stay and 17 surgical procedures, however, she was able to return home. Út continued to visit her until he was evacuated during the fall of Saigon, three years later

Guys this week I decided to post about a new vibe all over the world:TWILIGHT.
Who isn't in love with that charming and extremely good-looking vampire?
Who isn't imagining: If it were real...I would...?
Well, be welcomed to the twilight world! Where being of all kinds take us to a new place where nothing is impossible. You can dance in a Prom with the prettiest vampire ever, you can play baseball during a storm ...Isn't it perfect?
Well, I'm not in my teens anymore but I have to admite that this movie really catches on! Now I simply can't wait to read the books and counting the days to the next movie release date: november,20!

Inter 1 - Simple Present

Simple Present

Use the Simple Present to express the idea that an action is repeated or usual. The action can be a habit, a hobby, a daily event, a scheduled event or something that often happens.

Examples:

I play tennis.
She does not play tennis.
Does he play tennis?
The train leaves every morning at 8 AM.
The train does not leave at 9 AM.
When does the train usually leave?


The Simple Present can also indicate the speaker believes that a fact was true before, is true now, and will be true in the future. It is not important if the speaker is correct about the fact. It is also used to make generalizations about people or things.

Examples:

Cats like milk.
Birds do not like milk.
Do pigs like milk?
California is in America.


OBS: DO/DOES in negative and interrogative.

Un jueves en la vida de Suiane Mariana*

Todos los jueves yo me levanto a las seis y media de la mañana, me baño y voy al trabajo.
Empiezo a trabajar a las siete y media. Trabajo en una transportadora.
Siempre que llego a la empresa me gusta tomar un cafecito.
Paro al mediodía para almorzar y vuelvo a la una y media. Salgo a las seis de la tarde y vuelvo a casa.
Entonces me baño y voy a la clase de español. La clase empieza a las siete y quince y termina a las ocho y media. Después voy a casa y a veces me siento frente a la computadora. Es que me gusta acceder a la internet.Por fin, me acuesto sobre las once, once y media.


* Suiane Mariana estudia los martes y jueves y está haciendo el nivel 1.

Un sábado en la vida de Loraine Cristina*

El sábado es el día de la semana que más me gusta. A veces trabajo durante el día y otras, por la noche. Me gusta trabajar los sábados.
Es un día especial porque me levanto a las nueve de la mañana, me ducho, pero no desayuno porque a mí no me gusta. Entonces voy a la casa de algún pariente para almorzar y poder hablar un poco sobre las cosas del mundo.
Después voy a practicar deporte, me gusta mucho el voleibol. Juego al voleibol de las cinco hasta las siete de la tarde.
Tras el partido salgo con mis amigas y siempre vamos a la casa de una de nosotras para hablar, comer y beber. Allí nos quedamos hasta las cuatro o cinco de la mañana.
Llego a casa muy tarde, por eso duermo parte del domingo y a la hora del almuerzo busco estar con mi familia.
Nosotros hacemos nuestros días, no hay ninguno mejor que otro, solamente elegimos algún día para hacerlo mejor.
