Last Saturday my students from Inter2 presented two delicious recipes for the teacher in the Cooking Club. The girls (Kelly, Maxwellen and Aline) presented the recipe for the Delicious Sandwich, while Kaique presented a salad fruit (in which I even took part, cutting some apples and oranges!). It was fun and delicious :)

Last Saturday, my students from Inter 1 learned about Family Members… We talked about The Simpsons Family.
So, here is the Simpsons Family Tree:
About The Simpsons:
The Simpsons is an American animated television series created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series is a satirical parody of a working-class American lifestyle epitomized by its eponymous family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional city of Springfield , and lampoons American culture, society, television and many aspects of the human condition.
(www.lesluthiers.com)
Soldiers who've been away for months go back to their houses in secret. Then, they show up at their children's school for giving them a good surprise. The kid's reaction are so honest and intense that I almost cried myself away watching this video, lol. It's worth watching!
Hey... My students from Teens 4 learned about food, so we decided to do a Food Guide Pyramid.
The Food Guide Pyramid is one way for people to understand how to eat healthy. It's an outline of what to eat each day. It’s not a rigid prescription, but a general guide that lets you choose a healthful diet that’s right for you. It calls for eating a variety of food to get the nutrients you need and at the same time the right amount of calories to maintain or improve your weight.
We prepared a delicious fruit salad with my students from INTER 2.
Check the pics:
We had a lot of fun!!! And also healthy food!!!
=)
Hey people,
Read something about HEALTHY EATING
Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, and keeping yourself as healthy as possible– all of which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and using them in a way that works for you.
Healthy eating begins with learning how to “eat smart”—it’s not just what you eat, but how you eat. Your food choices can reduce your risk of illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, as well as defend against depression. Additionally, learning the habits of healthy eating can improve your health by boosting your energy, sharpening your memory and stabilizing your mood. Expand your range of healthy food choices and learn how to plan ahead to create and maintain a satisfying, healthy diet.
Healthy eating tip 1: Set yourself up for success

Help at home...
Hey… The students from Kids 6 learned how they can help at home… They did a schedule with the days of the week and some activities they can do at home: pick up the room, clean the floor, set the table, do the dishes, clear the table, help cooking and make the bed. They took this schedule and they’ll try to help their parents with theses chores.

A quoi ça sert, l’amour ?
A quoi ça sert, l’amour ? On raconte toujours Des histoires insensées A quoi ça sert d’aimer ?
Regarde-moi ! A chaque fois j’y crois !
I was talking about FOOD with my Inter 2 students, then I mentioned french fries and also hamburger and it reminded me of a video, a very funny video, in which a French man is trying hard to say a sentence about HAMBURGER.
