Shakespeare - Romeo & Juliet

Hey, everybody...

My students from Teens 3 read a Shakespeare's biography last week...

William Shakespeare was born on April 26th 1564 and he died on April 23rd 1616. He was an English poet and playwright, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. Shakespeare was born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith.
He then wrote mainly tragedies until about 1608, including Hamlet, King Lear, and Macbeth, considered some of the finest works in the English language. One of his famous romantic tragedy was Romeo and Juliet – two young "star-cross'd lovers"whose deaths ultimately unite their feuding families.
