Olympic year, Beijing rockin' around the clock with athletes from all over the world... and although brazilian's great performance, there's an american guy that is impressing everyone. His name is Michael Phelps (duh, of course you knew that!), and he achieved an Olympic record of eight golden medals. I mean, in ALL the competitions he was in, he won in first place. You go, boy!




"The Beijing Olympics has witnessed the greatest Olympian of all time - Michael Phelps of the USA," the announcer said as Phelps posed with his teammates [after a 400-meter medley relay].
The Americans still had to wait a couple of tantalizing minutes for the official results to be posted. Finally, it flashed on the board.
