Independence Day in Brazil
Brazil celebrates it independence from Portugal on September 7th. Dom
João VI fled Portugal and established himself in the Rio de Janeiro,
where he ruled Portugal's colonies. He remained their helping Brazil
open up trade and only returned to Portugal in 1820 because of a
revolution seeking to bring out a constitutional monarchy with Dom
João VI as the monarch. He returned to Portugal leaving his son, Pedro,
as the prince regent of Brazil. For Dom
João VI's efforts in Brazil, he was historically called
the "Founder of the Brazilian Nationality."

Hey Felipe !
What's up?
I'm traveling for Finland now.I'm a very lucky person, I got that job with Tim Burton, and now we are recording so many beatiful imagens here.Of course that I'm freezing , even in the summer this country is cold , but the nature is so wonderful ,and the northern lights is the most amazing thing that I ever seen. The people are very polite , but I don't have much time with the local people, so I can't talk.
If you someday want to travel to some place diferent , here is the place. I just dont'like the food ,I don't know, maybe because is something heavy and very dificul to digest. But in general is a very beatiful country, and worth every minute of your time.
Kisses

Hey, guys..
What's up?!
Take a look at this lyric....we had a simple past review with it !
Call Me Maybe
I threw a wish in the well,Don't ask me, I'll never tell
I looked to you as it fell,
And now you're in my way
I trade my soul for a wish,
Pennies and dimes for a kiss
I wasn't looking for this,
But now you're in my way
Your stare was holdin',
Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
Hot night, wind was blowin'
Where you think you're going, baby?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
It's hard to look right,
At you baaaabeh,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
Hey, I just met you,
And this is crazy,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
And all the other boys,
Try to chaaase me,
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
You took your time with the call,
I took no time with the fall
You gave me nothing at all,
But still, you're in my way
I beg, and borrow and steal
Have foresight and it's real
I didn't know I would feel it,
But it's in my way
Your stare was holdin',
Ripped jeans, skin was showin'
Hot night, wind was blowin'
Where you think you're going, baby?
Hey, I just met you,

Before you came into my life
I missed you so bad
I missed you so bad
I missed you so, so bad
Before you came into my life
I missed you so bad
And you should know that
I missed you so, so bad
It's hard to look right,

A Series of Unfortunate Events - Lemony Snicket
A Series of Unfortunate Events is a series of children's novels (or novellas) by Lemony Snicket (the pen name of American author Daniel Handler) which follows the turbulent lives of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire after their parents' death in an arsonous house fire. The children are placed in the custody of their distant cousin Count Olaf, who begins to abuse them and openly plots to embezzle their inheritance. After the Baudelaires are removed from his care by their parents' estate executor, Arthur Poe, Olaf begins to doggedly hunt the children down, bringing about the serial slaughter and demise of a multitude of characters.
The entire series is actively narrated by Snicket, who makes numerous references to his mysterious, deceased love interest, Beatrice. Both Snicket and Beatrice play roles in the story along with Snicket's family members, all of whom are part of an overarching conspiracy known to the children only as "V.F.D."
Since the release of the first novel, The Bad Beginning, in September 1999, the books have gained significant popularity, critical acclaim, and commercial success worldwide, spawning a film, video game, and assorted merchandise. The thirteen books in the series (or "tridecalogy") have collectively sold more than 60 million copies and have been translated into 41 languages.
FORTUNATELY, you can now find these books at International House!!! Dont' waste time and start now reading this incredible and funny story. I hope you enjoy it!!

Los Planetas - Un buen día
UN BUEN DÍA
Me he despertado casi a las diez
y me he quedado en la cama
más de tres cuartos de hora,
y ha merecido la pena.
Ha entrado el sol por la ventana,
y han brillado en el aire
algunas motas de polvo.
He salido a la ventana
y hacía una estupenda mañana.
H e bajado al bar para desayunar
y he leído en el Marca
que se ha lesionado el niñato.
Y no me he acordado de ti
hasta pasado un buen rato.
Luego han venido estos por aquí
y nos hemos bajado
a tomarnos unas cañas,
y me he reído con ellos.
He estado durmiendo hasta las seis
y después he leído
Y me he puesto triste
el momento justo antes de irme.
Había quedado de nuevo a las diez
y he bajado en la moto
hacia los bares de siempre,
donde quedaba contigo,
y no hacía nada de frío.
He estado con Erik hasta las seis
y nos hemos metido
cuatro millones de rayas.
Y no he vuelto a pensar en ti
hasta que he llegado a casa,
y ya no he podido dormir

Du bist was Du bist
Du lebst mit den Freuden
Und lebst mit den Leiden
Ob bitter ob süß
Was immer Du fühlst
Das hier ist Dein Leben
Und Du kannst entscheiden
Ob Du ohnmächtig alles erträgst
Oder all Deine Chancen abwägst
Du hast doch niemand was getan
Was? Wer? Tut warum Dir das an
Und wer bestimmt?
Das ist verrückt
All zu banal
Nur Pech + Glück
Warum ich?
Warum nicht Du?
Ref. Es ist wie es ist
Du bist was Du bist
Du lebst mit den Freuden
Und lebst mit den Leiden
Ob bitter ob süß
Was immer Du fühlst
Das hier ist Dein Leben
Und Du kannst entscheiden
Ob Du ohnmächtig alles erträgst
Oder all Deine Chancen abwägst
Es ist wie es ist
C. Warum ich? Warum nicht Du?
Warum nicht ich? Warum Du?
Warum ich? Warum nicht Du?
Warum nicht ich? Warum Du?
Ref. Es ist wie es ist
Du bist was Du bist
Du lebst mit den Freuden
Und lebst mit den Leiden

Was immer Du fühlst

Antes (Jorge Drexler)
Antes de mí tú no eras tú,
antes de ti yo no era yo.
Antes de ser nosotros dos
no había ninguno de los dos,
no había ninguno de los dos.
Antes de ser parte de mí,
antes de darte a conocer,
tú no eras tú y yo no era yo,
parece que fuera antes de ayer,
parece que fuera antes de ayer.
Antes que nada
yo quiero aclarar
antes,
no entiendo como podía vivir antes
no entiendo como podía vivir antes
no entiendo como podía vivir
Antes de mí tu no eras tu,
antes de tí yo no era yo.
Antes de ser nosotros dos
no había ninguno de los dos.
Antes de ser parte de mí,
antes de darte a conocer,
tú no eras tú y yo no era yo,
parece que fuera antes de ayer,
parece que fuera antes de ayer.
Antes de irme
yo debo decir:
yo también pensaba que era feliz
antes
(pero)
No entiendo como podía vivir antes.

Tell me your age!
Hey students...
Tonight I have a good magic trick to you!!
Let's do it?
1) Write the number of the year of you birth
2) Now double that number
3) Add #5
4) Multiply by #50
5) Add your age
6) Add #365, for the number of the days in a year
7) Subtract #615
8) Now separate the six figures in your answer
The four figures on the left show the year of your birth, and the two figures on the right show your age!
